We have been awarded on
ongoing contract, direct with
the hospital NHS Trust, to
supply HTM58 doorsets on a
rolling replacement basis. All
sets are purpose made in
conjunction with HTM58
guidelines to exactly match
those being removed. without
the need for any structural
alterations. Doors are
generally exchanged overnight,
to avoid the need to close any
areas of the building.
Doors are of two types, either steamed
beech veneered or Acrovyn clad (fully
encapsulated) for high usage corridor
areas. We supply different vision panel
types; flush beads for areas in use by
trolleys and more decorative bolection
beads for pedestrian areas. The
majority of doors have overpanels
which are individually made to
continue the veneer pattern on both
sides through to the doors below. We
have also supplied a number of lead
lined doors and frames to areas using
X-rays.
All doorsets were supplied hung in
their frames, lipped to all four edges,
factory finished and wrapped for
protection, they were also fully
serviced for hinges & lock cut outs
with fire identification discs being
recessed into the door face.
Veneered doors have flush fitting
Acrovyn kick plates and mid-rail plates
to protect against impact damage in
this large and busy environment.
