This new building for the internet bank, based in Derby is one of the few locations where we supplied doors only. This is due to the frames being of a steel construction supplied by our partner, Halspan.

The frames were made and assembled in Italy and installed prior to the arrival of our laminate faced doors with overpanels. Careful liaison with Italy allowed the doors to have the hinges and locks pre-machined in our factory to align perfectly with the frames.

A number of doors in toilet areas had over-laminated lippings making the correct fitting of the doors to the frames critical, as site adjustment to the door leaves is not practical.

Doorsets were fire rated from half hour FD30 to one hour FD60 with intumescent strips pre grooved out of the steel frames but supplied loose enabling the contractor to conceal fix the steel frames behind the intumescent seals.
