A multi award winning development this residential project is part redevelopment of the resort of Southport’s former Victorian Promenade Hospital, and part new-build with selling prices commanding in excess of £1million.

Our supply is internal steamed beech veneered doors and paint grade MDF frames with all components serviced to receive hinges etc. The frames/architraves are fitted during each apartments construction with the doors being supplied as each apartment is sold therefore minimising the chance of any damage to the pre finished doors. Many customers make some amendments to the basic design, and we are able to tailor the door supply to individual requirements. The majority of doors have decorative moulds to the face of the door, with variations including decorative beading / cassettes.

We have also supplied veneered doors which appear to be of solid timber construction but are in fact constructed from veneer layons at right angles to each other to give a “stile and rail” effect, these have been used in all the lounge areas were vision panels were utilised for the transfer of light.

Fire protection of half hour (FD30) for internal doorsets to one hour (FD60) for the apartment entrance doors and corridor / communal doors were specified.
