One of the most recognizable buildings in the country, adjacent to the M6 motorway in Birmingham. This development is the largest speculative office building outside London, with in excess of 300,000sq’ of office space, 45,000sq’ retail together with a 100 bedroom hotel attached.

The specification called for paint grade doors and hardwood frames with the frames having a “quirk detail” in lieu of architrave which called for close contact with the site team and critical sizes to be met. Often the door sets were manufactured immediately after the structural opening was formed creating a shortened manufacturing program. The “oversized” doors where in excess of 2800mm high and still fell within our fire certification. Several hundred sets where supplied with some sets having MDF panels applied to the face of the doors.
